It Started With One Question
1957 and 1959. 1957 was the year my dad hung a shingle in Walnut Creek and started practicing dentistry. 1959 was the year he and my mom moved to Danville. My own family has been in Walnut Creek since 2009.

My parents both went through this part of life. The care provided to my mother was not acceptable. 'Who's coming through my front door today?' was the question she consistently asked. I partnered with Seniors Helping Seniors® in large part because of that one question.

It is a small question with a large answer. When a different person walks in every few days, a senior spends their energy on introductions instead of living. The care never settles. Nobody learns that she takes her coffee before her pills, or that Thursdays are hard.

So this office was built around a phrase Dave uses often: Consistency of Care. The same caregiver. A familiar face at the door. Somebody who already knows the answer before your mom has to ask the question.

The families we serve across the Diablo Valley are neighbors — in Rossmoor, in Alamo, in Danville, in San Ramon. That is not a marketing line. It is a fifty-year-old address book.
